New tool, now indispensable!
This Nisaku 6550 hori hori knife and holster is very well made - good materials, full tang - although one of the most expensive. I have found it useful for digging, cutting, hacking, uprooting and wear it on my belt constantly. My only qualm is the slightly edgy wooden handle that can become uncomfortable with repeated use. If you don't have such a knife, try one for yourself! You will wonder what you did without it!
Fabulously beautiful product, why have I not owned one before? Stainless steel with a beech handle, the full tang handle model is worth the extra money for the genuine leather sheath which is thick, strong, sewn in the right places and studded, it will last a long time. Every time I use it I think to myself where would i put this large sharp pointed trowl if i didn't have a custom made snug fitting sheath threaded onto my belt, so keep that in mind.
Great gardening tool
I just love this knife and find that you only need it and not a multitude of hand tools when working around the garden tidying, weeding or planting - its definitely my go to tool :-)
