Converts a lathe with a 2MT fitting to use 1MT drive centres, drill chucks or other accessories.
Particularly useful if you have 2 lathes with different sized taper fittings, allowing you to share accessories.
Can be used on headstock or tailstock of the lathe.
For example: If you have a lathe with a 2MT fitting on the headstock but you want to use a drive centre with a 1MT centre – This adaptor is what you need.
